Summer, sun, sunshine & „Weißwurscht is”
(“because it doesn´t matter” or the fact of being adelicious Bavarian Weißwurst)
The Bavarian band “Weißwurscht is” is one for good feelings.

This summer the joyful chipsy-polka-reggae-band is on tour presenting their new program at different festivals. With them on tour: the new DVD “Narrenfreiheit” (the liberty of jesters) and the live-album (called the same) including the best songs and backstage material of the last year.

When the musicians of “Weißwurscht is” start playing “Quetsche”, violin, flute and harp, performing real “Weißwurscht is” –stuff, then the audience doesn´t stand a chance: the good vibrations of the band is spreading all over the audience and let it sing, dance and laugh!

To create their new program, the six musicians assembled and jammed in their “own country” named “Wildenberg” and produced a coloured mixture of new songs. From chipsy style to reggae to polka and both joyful and sophisticated texts – the rescuers of our sad world don´t fit in any category. Not only songs like “Solidarität” (solidarity), “die Junga und die Oidn” (the young and the old), “Meer” (sea) or “Frei” (free) are part of their program but also the most popular songs of their fans like “Unterhosnparty” (panty-party), “Bauernbua” (farmer boy) or “I bin I” (I am I).
